Nigeria's House of Representatives has considered AND passed the STATE POLICE Constitution Alteration BILL.

The Bill when passed by the Senate will be forwarded to the 36 State Houses of Assembly for consideration. Two-thirds of the state assemblies must pass the bill before it can be carried and presented to the President for assent into law.
