Something big is happening in Kaduna.

A total of 4,050 graduates across three campuses of the Kaduna Institute of Vocational Training and Skill Development (KIVTSD) are set to celebrate a major milestone on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

But this is more than just a graduation ceremony.

From plumbing, electrical installation and welding to solar installation, fashion design, catering, auto mechatronics and computer repairs, the graduates have been trained in practical skills designed to help them work, earn and build sustainable livelihoods.

The milestone highlights Kaduna State’s growing emphasis on vocational training and skills development as pathways to economic opportunity for young people.

Under the leadership of His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, the state continues to invest in programmes aimed at equipping young people with practical skills for the future.
