The Kebbi State Government has concluded arrangements to conduct a mass wedding for 300 couples drawn from Muslim and Christian communities in partnership with the Nafisa Nasir Charity Development Foundation (NANAS), officials said.

State officials said the initiative aims to support eligible couples who face financial barriers to marriage, with preparations completed ahead of the ceremony. The programme follows similar state-backed mass weddings organized under the current administration as part of its social welfare initiatives.

Authorities said beneficiaries were selected from across the state, reflecting the programme's inclusion of both faith communities.
